In 2015, the LNG/CNG industry was in a downturn, with production generally reduced by 1/2 to 2/3. The reason for this was the combined effect of two factors. The former factor was the price of natural gas, which increased instead of decreasing under the circumstances of a sharp drop in oil prices; the latter factor was the ban on converting gasoline to natural gas issued by the Ministry of Public Security in December 2014, which cut off the path for converting gasoline to natural gas for household cars (including vans, small trucks, etc.). The former factor was addressed by the National Development and Reform Commission in response to public opinion, reducing the price by 0.7 yuan/m3 on November 20th; the latter factor took advantage of the opportunity presented by the release of the "Amendment Draft of the People's Republic of China Road Traffic Safety Law (for Review)" by the State Council Legal Affairs Office, organizing national LNG/CNG production enterprises, installation enterprises, related enterprises, industry experts, major websites and media in Beijing to gather, petition, and jointly promote the amendment of the 16th provision of the "Road Traffic Safety Law". On January 26th, invited by the organizing committee, our company sent technical director Ji Jun to attend this meeting. During the meeting, everyone discussed and exchanged ideas on "How Can Natural Gas Vehicles Convert from Gasoline to Natural Gas Out of Difficulties?" and "How Can the Natural Gas Automotive Industry in China Out of Difficulties?"
